IFT was founded on Patrick Ternier’s absolute conviction that the only source of profitable growth, the only reason to invest in companies in the future, is their ability to innovate and their ability to differentiate.
And that the market was ready for a new type of innovation excellence solution; one that combines the completeness and flexibility of the best-in-class innovation management and PPM software, with the practices and processes of the best-in-class innovation research.
From an entrepreneurial background, Ternier brings 25 years of global experience in the software and consulting industry, focusing mainly on Innovation and R&D management practices and systems.
Prior to founding Innovation Framework Technologies, Patrick was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Artemis International Solutions Corporation, a Nasdaq listed company, specialized in Product Portfolio Management solutions.
From a French-German cultural background, Ternier holds a Master of Science Degree from the Ecole Centrale and a bachelor’s degree in economical sciences.
Colin Palombo
Managing Partner, Americas and Co-Founder
Colin is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Innovation Framework Technologies Americas. Colin has been advising clients over the last 18 years on business innovation processes and software automation. His client list spans both the U.S. and Europe in a range of industries including high-tech, industrial products, defense and energy and utilities. Prior to IFT, Colin held positions as SVP of Professional Services, Artemis International, one of the world’s largest product and project management software companies, and VP of Business Development with ProSight Inc., one of the first software companies specializing in product portfolio management. Prior to these software executive roles, Colin was a management consultant with Accenture, specializing in business process re-engineering and large-scale systems implementations. Colin holds an M.A. Honors in Computer Science from Cambridge University, England and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, France.
Young Min Park
Managing Partner, Korea
Young Min Park is the Managing Partner of Innovation Framework Technology Korea and the Chair of Project Management Institute (PMI) Korea Chapter.
He has over 28 years of experience with projects in R&D for manufacturing, industrial, construction, public utilities, heavy machinery, ship-building, offshore plant fabrication, and IT. He is a registered Project Management Professional, and an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Korean Project Management Association (KPMA), and Korean Earned Value Management Association (KEVMA). He introduced PMI’s PMP certification to Korea in the mid of 1990’s and was a chair of Korean translation verification committee for the PMBOK Guide.
He is also a prolific speaker / lecturer at industry events and universities, on television, and a highly appreciated trainer and workshop leader for clients.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Project Management from the University of Alaska-Anchorage, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Korea University.
Eric Gabas-Varini
Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer, Partner and Co-Founder
Eric is in charge of Innovation and Business Development at IFT and a founding member of the French chapter of PDMA, a worldwide organization dedicated to improving product development and management practices. His role is to identify leading innovation best practices for IFT customers and translate them into actionable solutions. Before creating IFT, he was in charge of strategic marketing and product roadmaps at Artemis International, a NASDAQ listed company specialized in product portfolio management solutions. Eric collaborates with numerous R&D organizations in the world to better understand their need, process and practices so as to offer them more readily usable solutions. He is also regularly involved with thought leaders, analysts, vendors and other members of the innovation management ecosystem. He holds an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a major in Information Systems |
